Like any other regular degree in management, a public administration degree focuses on organizational governance, finance, and administration. With any of the above specialization, a public administration degree holder can land a good job in local, state or federal government. The job market is large even in the public service sector including healthcare and veterinary department for a person who has pursued a degree in public administration. The person can also be absorbed by a non-governmental organization such as one of the many international relief agencies based in developing countries all over the world.
All these jobs and many more await a public administration degree holder. The potential jobs are all motivational jobs for a holder of a public administration degree will not start from the bottom line as it is the case with many other professions. It is not a surprise for a professional holder of a public administration degree to land into a managerial position after completion of the program.
